Programs will feature health care professionals and survivors speaking about the latest advances in breast cancer and issues that are important to patients, to inform both the public and lawmakers about this disease and its impact on Michiganders. Also, learn how to be an effective advocate at an advocacy training conference.

Through lobbying and other programs, we aim to inform state and national lawmakers of the importance of funding breast cancer research and creating policies that encourage cancer research and prevention efforts. We also advocate for access to quality care for all people affected by breast cancer. 		  eradicate
Our ultimate goal is to help researchers find a cure for breast cancer so that is no longer part of our lives but only a fragment of history.
