Lobby Day

On Lobby Day advocates from MIBCC go to Capitol Hill and visit the offices of all Michigan members of the US House of Representatives (15 members) and US Senate (2 members) 

We will attempt to meet every Representative from the state of Michigan to encourage them to support the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program as well as other important legislation.  There are so many areas of concern for those who have been affected by this disease.  This is our opportunity to let them know of our concern.  We have the ability to influence these key individuals that vote on behalf of our state.  Scholarships available for this event are offered by NBCC.  Please go to www.stopbreastcancer.org for more information.
