Tribute to Kathleen

July 15, 1953 - September 20, 2011
On September 20, 2011 Kathleen Livingston, a passionate, charismatic and dynamic force in breast cancer advocacy ended her 13 year struggle with inflammatory breast cancer. The Michigan Breast Cancer Coalition mourns the loss of our dear President. Kathleen's fortitude and grace continues to be an inspiration to all who knew her. A "Celebration of Life" was held in her honor October 28, 2011 at the Pine Lake Country Club in West Bloomfield. A formal tribute commenced at noon.

In honor of Kathleen a memorial fund has been established to continue her important work in Michigan through the Michigan Breast Cancer Coalition to bring public awareness and education to important breast cancer issues, and to support advocacy education and involvement.
